havent had the time or the inclination to blog properly since commissioning - make that even the week before commissioning, too. a big thank you to everybody that was there, jun, gen, yaoxian, zix.. thank you for coming down. ^_^

having a sort of lull period (before the big one!) now, having tons of lectures from 0800-1730, not that im complaining, its much better than running in the sun. which i will be doing, incidentally, 2 weeks hence, as part of my unit induction programme. anyway i just took my basic theory test, driving, of course, and now im deeply doubting whether ill pass! went to the spore safety driving centre in a daze (partially hunger and partially tiredness-induced) and well, i dont really like the place, its really rather cramped and dinghy looking and a bit overused. not to mention overpriced, i paid $2.70 for a can of red bull and a can of milo, which was the most liquid dinner ive ever had since the cambridge diet, but let's not go into that. to top it off i guess the traffic police are moving into this whole learning nation business, some of the questions cant be found in the prescribed guides sold in bookshops - i know, i bought one and browsed thru 2 of my frens' diff versions.. (doesnt this sound like med sch? at least from wat ive been hearing.) so failure is a very real possibility. the pass mark is 90%, incidentally.
