overall reflections on brunei (very brief) - realised, to my horror, ive since forgotten most, if not all, of my social studies... apparently brunei is split into 2 bits by the malaysian state of sarawak (erm maybe ill add a link to an online atlas or something this weekend). so getting from the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB, geddit? *rotfl*) to e other half requires a long trip by prop-jet ferry... not that it's without creature comforts. mildly entertained by a very old rerun of once upon a time in china and america on e in-house movie system. hrmmmmm!

watched e musical fountains in Jerudong Park Playground - i think that's the amusement park e Sultan built for his people, but we were there on a tue and, so i hear, the park's closed on mon n tues. perfect timing!!! gaah. surprised i kinda enjoyed it- maybe i thot i was too jaded already? at least there's still hope; havent lost all that innocence yet. not intending to, at any rate.
