time to revisit an old post: does anyone remember me posting about prodigy's "baby's got a temper"? read in the jul mixmag i bought a *long* time ago that prodigy themselves realise that theyve begun to steer away from dance musik music, sorry.. quote from Liam Prodigy (ho ho im beginning to use gossip mag naming conventions.. *grinz*) "[our music] doesnt feel like dance music any more, I ******* hate all that. I'd like to bomb Ibiza." now now isnt that a proper firestarter!! (inside joke. "firestarter" was their previous runaway hit single...) anyway prodigy's most-heard choon is, IMHO, "mindfields" which was on the matrix OST [original soundtrack]... the one where it goes "i like to walk in mindfields/ watch your head rock" or something like that... guess theyve always been on the rock side of dance. quote.. "Liam says that the Prodigy's sound has always been down to him trying to recreate Public Enemy in his head. 'The Public Enemy influence is mixed with the Sex Pistols and the British punk sound.' " gee... for the record ive always liked the matrix.
