hot DAMN i just lost a long post regarding my plans to get a new digicam (since the last topic was digicams) - this time its not cos blogger logged me out n i forgot to copy a copy of my post... the stupid com hung!! grrr im definitely gonna install win xp right after i finish my work. (which i should really be doing instead of blogging now!)

cake's "i will survive" - well no, i think the original was by gloria gaynor if im not mistaken - anyway fine, "i will survive" HAS to be the most annoying song of 2002... for me at least. its been slaughtered, butchered n pieced back together like some frankenstein's monster (lit purists take note) sooooo gazillion times - nb not the cake version. i kno a few people who *hate* the cake version but imho its probably the best out there since it encapsulates the anger/angst of the situation, as portrayed in the song, quite well.. i digress. sooo many gazillion times - and each time its parodied or *modified* it gets WORSE... ickkkkkk. mib2 had a version ("so now ure back, from outer space...") that they played to death in the trailers (frankly its putting me off watching the movie) even tho frank the pug's one of the more interesting characters. then i heard the absolute worst version ever on monday's presentation (im not gonna name it) cos it was the guys' song item (checklist: there were 5 items total, guys' song, gals' song, dance & instrumental performance.. wait that makes 4. logistics was the 5th *grin* anyhow coming in a close 2nd to logs was the instrumental performance - violins, cellos with [student] conductor, the works - see a previous post for more about the rest of the items. i think it was 020802 or 030802.) about surviving without *mommy* overseas. man! grow up already... im sure there are quite a few more that i really made an effort to forget - so much so that i really cant recall them now! you get the point.
