lost a blog entry i posted late last night cos e com crashed on me *again*.. rambling on and on and not making much sense. on second thots, maybe that wasnt such a loss after all!

now that the scanner's back from the workshop - can u believe this, the motor was connected the wrong way around so the belt kept churning the CCD assembly all the way to the end of the scanner... i dun claim to be an electrician or something but theres only so much u can do when there are like 5 diff coloured wires running into the little motor and u have no idea what does what.. which could be the reason why the workshop took a look at it and decided to give me a brand new set.. lmao... will be installing it asap. HUGE backlog of stuff im supposed to scan..... including some really wacky stuff from my bangkok trip (i still owe these blog entries...), and some pix thats supposed to go up in my room and into the photo album on my palm. - but i cant quite figure out how to synchronise the MGI photosuite for palm... oh man.
