ah yes i recall the song which i was thinking of- a bit overplayed now, apologies to all for stooping to something rather mainstream-popular, but i kinda liked it from before it became prominent: Dirty Vegas' "Days Go By". theme for last week!

Dirty Vegas - "Days Go By"

You
You

You are still a whisper on my lips
A feeling at my fingertips
That's pulling at my skin

You leave me when I'm at my worst
Feeling as if I've been cursed
Bitter cold within

Days go by and still I think of you
Days when I couldn't live my life without you
Days go by and still I think of you
Days when I couldn't live my life without you
Without you
Without you

You are still a whisper on my lips
A feeling at my fingertips
That's pulling at my skin

You leave me when I'm at my worst
Feeling as if I've been cursed
Bitter cold within

Days go by and still I think of you
Days when I couldn't live my life without you
Without you
Without you

Days go by and still I think of you
Days when I couldn't live my life without you
Days go by and still I think of you
Days when I couldn't live my life without you
Without you
Without you
Without you
Without you
Without you

its kinda incredible how this song's charting on, of all things, Rick Dees' Weekly Top 40... which is also like a month or 2 late from the states. come to think of it, its always sublime when something uve heard when its still a distant blip on the music radar suddenly makes it big - esp on local radio. like royksopp's "Poor Leno", which i *always* thought was some cheesy euro track called borleno or something. hard to believe theyre the people who did the too-good-for-words mix of the Kings of Convenience's "I Don't Know What I Can Save you From"... ouch. or that other one- i forgot who did it- but its the really cheesy sounding one on WKRZ913, "Sunglasses at Night"...
